Bio

2025: The senior catcher played in 47 games, with 46 starts, primarily appearing behind the plate. Warder found the form she had in 2023, posting career-bests with a .347 average, .403 on-base percentage, .644 slugging and nine home runs, the fourth most on the team. She also notched six doubles, one triple and drove in 24 runs. She blasted a pair of home runs against Lee (Feb. 5), tying her for second in school history for most home runs in a game. She her career-best with a 2-for-3, 4 RBI day against No. 22 Lincoln Memorial (Mar. 8). The Harrodsburg, Kentucky native finished with 12 multi-hit games.

2024: Warder appeared in 47 games and started 43, making starts behind the plate, in left field and at second base.  She hit .271 for the year with eight doubles, a triple and three home runs. Warder drove in 19 runs on the year and slugged .432 with a .367 on-base percentage.  Warder had five multi-hit days and a quartet of multi-RBI efforts.  She matched her career high by driving in four against Wheeling (Mar. 10).  She had her sixth and seventh-career three-hit days against Catawba (Apr. 6) and Converse (Apr. 8).  

2023: Warder wrapped up the year hitting .331 with 48 knocks. She bashed out eight doubles, two triples and six home runs en route to slugging .538. She drove in 30 runs, fourth most on the team.  Included in that are a pair of four-RBI games.  She drove in four against USC Beaufort (Feb. 18) and Newberry (March 18).  Warder's bat was charged late, half of her home runs came after the calendar flipped to April. She finished the year for 11 multi-hit efforts, including a quartet of three-hit days.

2022: Warder appeared in 39 games with 30 starts at catcher for C-N.  She hit .248 with five doubles, two triples and two home runs. Carson-Newman was 10-0 when Warder scored a run.  She had a four-hit day against Erskine (2/25). She drove in a career-best four runs against North Greenville (3/2).  Warder caught 10 runners stealing on the year.  

PRIOR TO CARSON-NEWMAN: Redshirted at Eastern Kentucky for a team that won the Ohio Valley Conference Championship and appeared in the Knoxville Regional of the NCAA tournament.  She was an NFCA Academic Selection and won the Ohio Valley Conference Medal of Honor for 4.0 GPA for the year 2020.

HIGH SCHOOL: Warder hit .524 through 82 games in her high school career.  She led the state of Kentucky in batting average and on-base percentage in 2019.  An all-state selection in Kentucky she was runner up for the 5A Region Player of the Year in 2019.  

PERSONAL: The daughter of Matt and Kami Warder, her father played baseball at BYU.  She plans to study to be in the medical fields at Carson-Newman.
