Like the old saying goes, all good things must come to an end. Six months ago, 16 girls came together all with one dream. The dream was to be the best girls we could be on and off the court, and go as far as we can in our season in hopes of making Carson-Newman history.

Hi my loves! If you have been keeping up with our record you already know that this past week was an extremely successful week for the Eagles! With Senior Day being this week, we are cherishing every moment we have with one another. We had an amazing weekend on the road to South Carolina and I love the fact that we continue to make the most unforgettable memories with one another!

Most of the time in these rundowns I don’t like to go into too much details about our actual games, but I feel that I have to make an exception when it comes to our first round match against Anderson this past weekend.

Happy Dig Pink month everyone! It’s been an extremely busy week packed with four games in a matter of seven days. After traveling to Mars Hill and hosting our Dig Pink weekend, we added four more W’s to the board. The days we weren't playing we spent in the gym working hard to prepare for our long week of games.

Hey Eagle fans! I hope you all had a good week because we are all enjoying our last few weeks with our teammates. As the regular season is beginning to come to a close, we are starting to truly understand what it is like to play for the girl next to us. It’s been a rough week with three road matches, so we haven’t had much time to spend on outside activities. However, the lessons that we have learned together this past week have made us grow as individuals and as a team. We came out of this past week 1 and 2, but in the end it has only helped us as a team. We are starting to realize that we only have a few weeks left as THIS team and we are learning to cherish every moment we have with each other. Whether it is the long bus rides back together, or the awesome pre and post game meals we get to share together as a team, we are truly beginning to cling to the memories we are making with one another. College volleyball doesn’t last forever but the friendships that we make do.

Robertson's Rundown: October 19, 2015

Carson Newman Volleyball had an extremely productive and exciting week leading up to the two matches over the weekend. Every practice was filled with intense competition! Every player left the gym knowing that they got better that day. We made sure to mix up the teams a bunch and several people played positions that they wouldn’t normally. But, like coach says, be a volleyball player first and a specialist second. We are so blessed as a program to have people who can be put in any situation and excel!

Happy Monday everyone! I hope all of your weekends was as great as ours! CNVB started out this wonderful week with two very generous days off to catch up on some homework and some rest. On our second day off, we had a team yoga sesh to get a chance to relax and unwind as a team. It was a great way for us all to relax our bodies and minds and prepare us for the rest of the week and for our first conference away games. Although yoga is typically very peaceful and relaxing, when you throw Nat and Allie in the equation, not so much. From Nat’s toe cramp, to Allie not being able to breathe from laughing so hard, “Namaste” was “no more.”
