ANDERSON, S.C. – For the fifth time in program history, the Carson-Newman Eagles (25-5, 18-3 South Atlantic Conference) sealed a 25-win year with a four-set victory against the Anderson (S.C.) Trojans (10-16, 8-12 SAC) 18-25, 25-21, 25-19 and 25-22 Saturday afternoon at the Abney Center.
NEWBERRY, S.C. – After dropping the first set the Carson-Newman Eagles (24-5, 17-3 South Atlantic Conference) took the final three sets to defeat the Newberry Wolves (9-15, 5-13 SAC) 20-25, 25-20, 25-21 and 25-15 Friday night at Eleazer Arena.
The Carson-Newman volleyball team (23-5, 16-3) only needed three sets to take care of arch-rival and South Atlantic Conference foe Tusculum College (11-14, 8-11) Tuesday night, sweeping the Pioneers in straight sets to give coach Dan Ahiers his 50th career win.

This week CNVB took on many new challenges and adventures. As a team we conquered a 10-hour bus ride, our first official “W”, two new cities including Chi-town and some amazing deep dish style pizza. With all these cool new experiences, it’s fun to look back and see that it isn’t the places we go, but the people we are with that make the memories.
