Over her final year, Edwards played in 96 sets over 27 matches tallying 10 double-digit kill nights leading the team seven times.... Recorded an electric .533 hitting percentage with 17 kills and one error on 30 swings on Sept. 10 in a win over Catawba... Fired a .317 margin with 17 kills against Mars Hill on Oct. 17... Spring 2021 (Senior): Edwards earned a slot on the second club for the second year in a row after being the SAC Tournament MVP in 2019 adding all-region and all-region tournament team selections as a junior. In her four seasons with the program, she has produced a .281 attack percentage, good for the fifth-best margin for a career in the history of the program. She has racked up 235 block assists to sit at No. 10 on the all-time list. During the 2021 spring season, the Midlothian, Va. native had six matches with double-digit blasts to bring her career total to 33. She led the team in kills three times and in blocks on three occasions. Edwards posted a season-high 14 kills hitting .344 against Anderson on April 3 and backed that up with another dominant SAC Tournament performance with nine kills within a misfire and a .450 hitting margin in the quarterfinals against Limestone.

2019 (Junior): Edwards produced a breakout junior year earning second-team D2CCA All-Region honors, second-team All-SAC laurels and a trio of postseason plaudits - the only player in program history to collect those awards with the SAC Tournament MVP. She was the 2019 SAC Tournament MVP where she posted 44 kills in three matches led by a then career-high 17 against 24th-ranked Wingate in the semifinals. The junior was a member of the NCAA Southeast Region All-Tournament team resetting her career-high with 19 kills posting a scorching .457 hitting percentage in a sweep of Augusta in the championship match on Dec. 7. In seven postseason matches, she had at least nine kills in all seven including six with double digits posting 96 total kills during that stretch, the most by an Eagle during a single postseason in program history. She averaged 4.30 kills per set over the three matches hitting .396 en route to a region title. The Midlothian, Va. native had the fourth-most efficient season in school history with a .312 hitting clip, seventh in the SAC. With 108 block assists, she finished eighth in C-N history with 112 total rejections, fourth in the SAC. The right side had 18 overall double-digit kill efforts on the year leading the team in smashes 12 times and leading the way in rejections on four occasions. The junior had two double-digit kill efforts in her first 11 matches but 16 over her final 25.

2018 (Sophomore): Played in 28 of the team’s 29 matches finishing third on the team in kills per set at 2.09 while hitting .264, eighth in the SAC… To open the year, she had 13 kills against Belmont Abbey on Aug. 31 on 20 swings without a mistake. It was the most kills without an error since Maddie Borch went 14-0-26 (.538) against Erskine on Dec. 5, 2016 in the NCAA Southeast Region Semifinals in Aiken, S.C. Her attack percentage of .650 was the highest margin for a C-N player with an outing of at least 12 kills since Jenna Wilson hit .667 (12-0-18) at Coker on Oct. 31, 2014…With 90 total blocks, she finished eighth in the SAC…Reset her career high with 14 kills at Mars Hill on Nov. 3…Overall, she had nine double-digit kill efforts leading the team in the category six times.

2017 (Freshman): Saw action in 18 of the team’s 32 matches totaling 40 sets played…Produced her best outing as a rookie with six kills on a .455 hitting percentage with three digs and 1.5 total blocks against Francis Marion on Sept. 30…Notched three kills on three swings at Catawba on Oct. 28.

In her career, Edwards notched 624 kills, 75 blocks, 174 digs and 141 aces. Also a member of the gymnastics team, she excelled in the classroom being a member of the Beta Club, a Tribe Mentor Leader, on the Academic Honor Roll all four years and being a President's Award winner.
