Bio
2023: Indoor - Garrett grabbed two first-place finishes at the Bast-Cregger Multi Invitational, one in the long jump (7.14 m) and another in the triple jump (14.74 m). He grabbed second in the triple jump at the Finn Pincus Invitational with a 14.14-meter performance. At the Division II Indoor Track & Field Pre-Nationals, Garrett placed first in the long jump with a 7.14-meter leap. He stood second on the podium at the 2023 South Atlantic Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships for his 14.65-meter triple jump.
Outdoor - During the Trojan Openers, Garrett won gold in the long jump with a 7.30-meter leap. He contributed to a fourth-place finish in the men's 4x100-meter relay. Garrett won first place in the triple jump during the Montreat College Open (14.87 m), and he ran a new personal best in the 100-meter dash in 10.91. At the LR Bears Open, Garrett won gold in the triple jump, and he set a new personal best in the triple jump during the 2023 SAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships where he placed fourth (15.00 m).
2022: Indoor - Garrett grabbed third in the triple jump (14.04 m) and fourth in the long jump (6.74 m) to open the indoor season at the ETSU Track and Field Invitational. At the 2022 South Atlantic Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships, Garrett placed fourth in the triple jump with a 14.09-meter performance and fifth in the long jump with a 6.95-meter leap.
Outdoor - During the Lee Invitational, Garrett won gold in the long jump (6.82 m). He went on to grab two more first-place finishes during the Electric City Invitational. Garrett won gold in the long jump (7.12 m) and triple jump (14.46 m). At the 2022 South Atlantic Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships, Garrett grabbed a fourth-place finish in the triple jump with a 14.57-meter performance.

2019-20: Posted a fourth-place finish in the long jump with a 6.75m jump at the Finn Pincus Invitational... Finished in the top 10 at SAC Indoor Championships in the triple jump, fifth at 13.26m, and long jump, eighth at 6.49m.
PREVIOUS: Garrett was named RVC All-League and a member of the Border War All-Star team after his senior year at Greenwood. He scored 11 touchdowns as a senior six different ways (receiving, rushing, interception return, punt return, kickoff return and fumble return). He had 600 yards rushing and 118 yards receiving. A four-sport athlete, he also played basketball, ran track and lifted weights competitively. He won Florida's state championships in the long jump, triple jump and 100 meters.
PERSONAL: An A/B honor roll student and president of FFEA, Garrett is the son of Ashley Garrett.
