Browder named Wealth Enhancement Group Elite 23 Award Winner
ROCK HILL, S.C. – Carson-Newman junior forward Jack Browder has been named the Men’s Basketball Wealth Enhancement Group Elite 23 Award winner, the South Atlatnic Conference announced Wednesday afternoon.

Browder receives the honor for having the highest GPA at the site of the South Atlantic Conference men's basketball tournament.
Browder carries a 4.0 GPA with 105 credit hours complete toward his degree in business.
Browder leads C-N with 19.7 points per game. He also averages a team-best 8.8 rebounds per game. He has produced 28 double-digit scoring efforts this season, including 14, 20-point efforts.
He was named national player of the week after scoring 30 points in three straight games. Browder was recognized as the league's player of the week on four occasions this year.
He is the first men's basketball player to win the Elite 23 Award, but the fourth Eagle to earn the honor this year, joining football long snapper Andrew Bradshaw, men's swimmer Asger Hartvig and women's basketball player Campbell Penland.
Browder and the rest of the Eagles will be in action Thursday at noon in the semifinals of the SAC Basketball Championships against Lincoln Memorial.
