JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. – In conjunction with "Sparks – The Ken Sparks Story," a documentary produced on legendary Carson-Newman head football coach Ken Sparks, a "338" ring has been designed and made available for sale to benefit the "Ken Sparks Making a Difference Academic Scholarship."
The scholarship is awarded to any academically qualified student showing evidence of financial need and Christian leadership.
This limited-edition ring is offered to coaches, players, support staff, student support groups, friends and donors of the program that participated in the 338 wins that place Ken Sparks fifth on the all-time wins list for college football.
A custom feature of the 338 ring allows a buyer to identify the specific wins of which they were a part during the historic Sparks era. The ring also features "HOW'S YOUR HEART?" to serve as a reminder and example for all, of Sparks' Christian leadership and legacy.
Every ring sold will add 105 dollars to the fund. There is also a very limited supply of hand-signed and numbered Ken Sparks portraits for 200 dollars, of which 150 dollars will benefit the fund.
