2025: Bertucci started all 10 games for Carson-Newman at guard on the offensive line.  He was partly responsible for C-N leading the SAC in rushing for a second straight year.  The Eagles averaged 245.7 yards per game on the ground – 10th best nationally.  Furthermore, C-N was tops in the SAC in fewest sacks allowed and seventh nationally (0.8 per game), while ranking fourth in the league in fewest tackles for loss allowed (4.50 per game).  The man known as Big Tooch helped clear the way for eight different players to rush for at least 100 yards on the year.  He personally did not allow a sack on the year. 

2024: Appeared in nine games as a reserve offensive lineman for the Eagles. 

2023: Did not appear in any games, redshirted. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Bertucci was a versatile athlete at Knoxville Catholic High School, playing football, wrestling, swim, and lacrosse. He was a leader on his wrestling team and had a standout performance as a lacrosse goalie with 35 blocks in one game. He was named Gold Standard player of the week for football and ground all hog for lacrosse and MVP for lacrosse.

PERSONAL: The son of Jackie and Chris Bertucci, he plans to study Criminal Justice at Carson-Newman. He was awarded the Monsignor Thoni award and was a member of the National Honors Society in high school. He chose Carson-Newman for its proximity to home and the energy of the coaches.
