Orange and Blue drafted, C-N set for Carriage Hill Spring Game Saturday

The soiree nearly ties a bow on C-N's spring practice period.
Carson-Newman's leadership council drafted just about everyone in the Ken Sparks Athletic Complex. The Orange team's leadership consists of Brendan Shoaf (LS), Henry Bertucci (OL), Cruz Temple (LB), Luke Scott (DL) and Isaiah Cane (DB). While the Blue team's leadership featured Martavis Mason (DL), Bennett Smith (K), Blake Shinault (OL), Terry Lemon (LB) and Caleb Graham (DL).
Only head coach Tyler Almond was unavailable for the draft. Everyone from trainers, team docs and the building maintenance staff was available for selection.
The top 10 draft picks were as follows, starting with the blue team:

Other noteworth selections are Marty Blakely drafted as the team chaplan for the blue team, and Alan Duncan as the orange team's chaplan. No commentary will be offered on who was selected first.
The steal of the draft was the Crush picking up Melanie Bissell to be the associate head coach.
The contest will be played as a straight up game with 15 minute quarters with potential running clock. The only other noteworthy rule change, all special teams returns will be played as two-hand touch.
