2017: Only Eagle to start in all 18 games... Team’s co-leader for goals alongside Tobias Solem Karlsen with 11... Led C-N with 25 points, 71 shots and 28 shots on goal... His best performance came in a Sept. 16 victory over Newberry, scoring two of C-N’s five goals on the day... He scored goals in four straight games spanning from Oct. 11 to Oct. 21... Netted game-winning shots against North Greenville on Sept. 2 and Newberry on Sept. 16... Had three assists on the season... His three-year career with C-N saw him move into top spots for team statistical records including the second-most career assists with 31, sixth-most points (79), eighth-most goals (24), sixth-most game-winning goals (5), second-highest shots attempted (219) along with the third-highest shots falling on goal (93)... Ended his career with the second-highest active career assists (31) in Division II as well as the most assists per game (0.58).
2016: Was the only player to start all 17 games for the Eagles in 2016...Led C-N with 12 assists, a total that also topped the South Atlantic Conference...His mark of a dozen assists tied him for the third-most in a season in program history...Read's 12 assists also placed him sixth nationally and his mark of 0.71 assists per game tied him for fourth....Tied the program record with four assists against Flagler on Sept. 10th...Tallied two assists against Newberry, King (Tenn.) and Tusculum, including an assist on Thibault Mathorez's game-winner...Added assists against USC-Aiken and Lenoir-Rhyne...Piled up five goals, the team's second-most...Converted chances against Flagler, Newberry, Queens (N.C.) and scored in consecutive games against Anderson (S.C.) and King (Tenn.) on Oct. 1st and 5th, respectively...Led the team and finished second in the SAC with 86 total shots and 36 shots on goal...Through two seasons at Mossy Creek, Read has accumulated 28 assists, the second-highest career total in school history.
2015: Appeared and started in 18 matches as a junior... Set a Carson-Newman record with 16 assists in a season and finished the year third in Division II in the category and led the SAC... Recorded three assists against Catawba on Oct. 10th to become the first Eagle to accomplish the feat in over a decade...
