JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. - With just one week until the 2014-15 edition of Carson-Newman women's basketball takes the court, the Lady Eagles debut their new hype video.
Head coach Mike Mincey's group returns 70 percent of its scoring and 76 percent of its rebounding from a team that finished a bucket shy of advancing to the South Atlantic Conference Championship game a year ago.
Junior guard Tatum Burstrom (Maryville, Tenn.) and sophomore forward Kaitlyn Cupples (Clinton, Tenn.) were picked preseason second team All-SAC selections prior to this season.
The Lady Eagles challenge the University of North Carolina on November 5 in Chapel Hill, N.C. at 6:00 p.m. in an exhibition effort in a game you can listen to on the Eagle Sports Network.
