Griffin's group moves up trip to Wingate
WINGATE, N.C. - With rain in the forecast for this weekend in the Tar Heel State, 22nd-ranked Carson-Newman and Wingate have moved up their four-game South Atlantic Conference series to Friday and Saturday with each day's doubleheader starting at 1 p.m. from Ron Christopher Stadium.

The Eagles have won eight consecutive SAC contests taking the last two series at home against UVA Wise and Queens and will enter the weekend sitting along in first place on the league table.
