Rain shoves baseball's series with No. 1 Wingate back a day
JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. - After playing through the rain in Tuesday's 16-12 win over UVA Wise, Carson-Newman will look to avoid a good chunk of precipitation this weekend by pushing its series with No. 1 Wingate back a day. The team's will start the series with the doubleheader on Saturday at noon before wrapping up the weekend on Sunday at 1 p.m.

The Eagles are hosting the top-ranked unit in the nation for the second time in three years after taking a contest against Tampa back in 2020.
