2024-25 (Freshman): Played in 10 rounds for the Eagles in the spring of 2025. Averaged 76.5 over his 10 rounds. His low round of the year came at the Ralph Harget Memorial where he shot 72 in the final round to go six-over on the weekend. He competed as a sub in the SAC tournament carding a nine-over 81.
PRIOR TO C-N: Was a three-sport athlete in high school competing in golf, basketball, and soccer. During his high school career, Schoonmaker took a trip to the state tournament where he notched a runner-up finish in 2023. He was on the honor role and a member of National Honors Society.
PERSONAL: Ian is the son of Timothy and Chelyncia Schoonmaker. Timothy was a collegiate basketball player for Johnson State College.
