Bio

Prior to Carson-Newman: Spent two years at Cayuga Community College and this past year at William Penn.

William Penn (2025): In his only season with William Penn, Soto Diaz hit an impressive .385 and led the team with 17 home runs and 42 RBI. His 17 home runs are tied for the most in a single-season in William Penn baseball history. 25 of his 57 hits went for extra bases. He slugged a team-best .791 and reached base 46 percent of the time. Was named an All-Heart Conference Second-Team outfielder.

Cayuga Community College (2023-2024): Spent two seasons at Cayuga Community College. Second-team all-region performer at Cayuga CC…All-conference honoree…Best performance was going 6-for-6 with four RBIs while at Cayuga CC. As a freshman, Soto Diaz hit .357 and drove in 16 runs in 27 games. In his second and final season with Cayuga CC, he played in 37 games, driving in 21 runs and hitting .400. His batting average ticked up to nearly .500 in 20 home games.

High School: Senior All-Star game participant at Manhattan Bridges HS…Had a top performance of going 3-for-4 with a home run, triple, and double with five RBIs in addition to three strikeouts.
