Bio
2024 (Sophomore): Appeared in 97 sets in every game but one. Her 272 digs landed fourth among Carson-Newman players and her 2.80 digs/set ranked third. Hafey notched 16 games with 10 or more digs throughout the year highlighted by two season high 19 digs against Tusculum on Sept. 27. She played a crucial role toward the end of the season, posting 18 dig matches against Anderson (S.C.) on Nov. 15 and against Mars Hill in the SAC Quartefinals on Nov. 19. Her 14 service aces ranked 5th among teammates and she logged five games with multiple aces.
HONORS:
- CSC Academic All-District
2023 (Freshman): Appeared in 27 matches as a freshman, earning the starting nod in two. In a backline role, she received 368 serves, with 235 digs on the season. She earned a kill, and a service ace in her collegiate debut against Alabama Huntsville on Sept. 1. Notched a season and career-high 30 service returns at USC Aiken on Oct. 14. Hafey set her career-high of 29 digs against then nationally-ranked No. 24 Wingate on Oct. 6.
HIGH SCHOOL: At Fruita Monument High School Hafey participated in volleyball, basketball, soccer, and track being named MVP and first-team all-conference all four years. As team captain, she recorded 1,400 career digs, 1657 serve receives, 90 aces and helped guide her team to two league titles. In the classroom, she was a member of National Honor Society, lettered all four years of high school, and earned a spot on first team academic all-state. Her father Corey Hafey and brother Christian both played baseball at Colorado Mesa. Her sister, Truth Hafey plays beach volleyball for Carson-Newman.

College Sports Communicators announced their 2025 Academic All-District® teams on Tuesday. Blair Cherry, Emerson Ahsmuhs, Maddie Hurst, and Trinity Hafey represented C-N on this year’s teams.
After a first-set victory for C-N, Flagler’s offense powered through Carson-Newman’s tough serving to wrap up the Eagles’ first trip to the NCAA Tournament in three years.
The Eagles used every weapon to collect their first SAC tournament victory in three years and travel to the tournament site on Friday against #15 Wingate.
The Eagles grabbed the victory against the Newberry Wolves in four sets and will host UVA Wise in the SAC quarterfinals following a 14-4 conference record.
Five Eagles collected at least five kills while defense held firm to collect the season sweep of UVA Wise.
The C-N defense held the lines, limiting the Mars Hill attack to 45 kills and a .105 hitting percentage
Cat Collins’ squad picked up their first 20-win season under her guidance, while Dziczkowski and Hurst set new single-match highs in hitting percentage.
Good serving and resilient defense let Carson-Newman slip by Catawba for the season sweep and get them back in the win column.
The Eagles struggled to the tune of a season-low hitting percentage and fell inside Cuddy Arena for the ninth straight time.

Carson-Newman is coming off their third loss of the season to Anderson. All three losses for the Eagles have been against SAC opponents, and will look to tip their SAC record scales above .500 with a midweek matchup against Lincoln-Memorial.

It was a tough battle between the Bears and Eagles, who ultimately would lose in three sets at their home opener.
In the final non-conference match of the regular season, the Eagles rally from two crushing set one and two losses to topple the Lady Flames in their first reverse sweep since 2023.
