JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. – Carson-Newman Director of Eagle Club and Athletics Development David Needs has announced the hiring of former Carson-Newman volleyball player Kylee Oldenburger as the new Assistant Eagle Club Director, Corporate Relations, and Ticketing Director.
"We are excited to add Kylee to the Eagle Club," Needs said. "With her background in college athletics and alumni relations she brings many talents to the staff and will be an asset in the continued growth of the Eagle Club membership and building partnerships within our community."
Oldenburger has spent the last year across campus as an Alumni Relations Coordinator in Carson-Newman's Advancement Office.
While there, she worked as an advisor for the Student Ambassador Association and worked with admissions to involve alumni in the recruitment processes through Showcase Saturdays and family weekends.
She was involved with leadership in implementing Alumni Relations strategic plans and coordinating and attending the annual C-N Alumni & Friends gathering at Tennessee Baptist Convention.
Oldenburger spent the 2024-25 season suiting up for the orange and blue after a four-year career at Upper Iowa. She appeared in 24 matches in an Eagles uniform, with her best match coming against Emory & Henry in early November, where she collected nine kills and two blocks while hitting over .300.
On the beach courts, Oldenburger wracked up a 21-5 record in her lone season with the program, going 20-2 at flight three.
She is the second Oldenburger to work with the Eagle Club. Her older sister Meg worked in the office as a Corporate Relations Coordinator for two years.
