Orange Team Claims Second Win In A Row In BvO Championship
Orange Team wins the 10th Blue v. Orange World Championship for the second year in a row.
MORRISTOWN, Tenn. – Carson-Newman swimming kicked off the 2025-26 season with the 10th annual Blue v. Orange World Championship on Saturday, Sept. 20, where the Orange Team claimed victory for the second year in a row.
The Blue v. Orange, an intrasquad meet that has opened the Eagles' season since its inaugural event in 2013, once again set the tone for the year ahead.
The Orange Team dominated across multiple events, securing a 321-213 win over the Blue Team.
Competition began Friday night at Cherokee Lake, where the long-distance swimmers competed in a new tradition added to the event.
After enduring a multi-year drought, the Orange Team ended its skid with last year's victory and has now secured back-to-back wins following today's 321-213 triumph.
Looking ahead, next week's meet at Milligan has been rescheduled for Saturday, Jan. 17, with times to be announced.
