Sullivan collects second career SAC Player of the Week honor
ROCK Hill, S.C. – For the second time in her career, Carson-Newman senior guard Jennifer Sullivan has been named the WePlayed Sports South Atlantic Conference’s Player of the Week, the league office announced earlier today.

ROCK Hill, S.C. – For the second time in her career, Carson-Newman senior guard Jennifer Sullivan has been named the WePlayed Sports South Atlantic Conference Player of the Week, the league office announced earlier today.
Sullivan's first career honor from the SAC came almost exactly one year ago, January 20, 2025.
It's Carson-Newman's first weekly honor from the league office this season.
Sullivan powered Carson-Newman to a 2-0 week, both wins were came by double digits against #20 Lincoln Memorial and Newberry. For the week, the senior guard averaged 22.5 points, four assists and two assists per game. Impressively, she made 45 percent of her three-pointers, going nine for 20 in the two games. Overall, Sullivan shot 43 percent from the field.
The week started with a 76-58 win #20 Lincoln Memorial on Wednesday. Sullivan scored a career-high 30 points with a career-high seven three-pointers to lead all scorers. She is the first C-N player with 30 or more points since Lindsey Taylor's 38-point game versus Mars Hill last February. Her seven made triples were the most in a game since Braelyn Wykle reset the program's record for three-pointers in a game by making 13 against Mars Hill on March 2nd, 2024.

She finished the week with a 15-point, six-assist day in a 12-point win over Newberry on Saturday. Her six assists came with no turnovers to lead the team.
Sullivan's sharpshooting has been on full display over the past two years. She has made 105 three-pointers in a C-N uniform, 14th all-time in program history. She is 25 triples away from breaking into the top ten. Her 105 three-pointers have come on an elite 41.3 percentage, which is currently the second-highest mark in program history.
Sullivan and the Lady Eagles are on the road for their next two games, starting on Wednesday at Mars Hill.
