MILLEDGEVILLE, GA – For the 16th time in program history, Carson-Newman women's basketball has an all-region player. Senior guard Jennifer Sullivan was named to the Division II Conference Commissioners Association second-team All-Southeast Region team on Thursday afternoon.
Sullivan's all-region honor is the first of her career, becoming the first Lady Eagle recognized by D2CCA since Braelyn Wykle in 2023-24. Sullivan is the 16th player in program history to be named a D2CCA all-region player.
The Knoxville native has put together quite an impressive senior season and career with the Lady Eagles. She has reached double figures in scoring 21 times, and has posted 15 20-point games this season, more than doubling her 20-point performances from last season. Heading into the NCAA Tournament, Sullivan has scored 20 points or more in four of her last six games. Just this season, she has led the Lady Eagles in scoring 17 times.
Sullivan's scoring comes in a multitude of ways, but especially from three-point range. She has poured in 81 triples this season and is just three made triples away from moving up to second for most threes in a single season. The sharpshooter leads the SAC in three-pointers made and in three-point percentage at 39.1 percent. She has made three or more triples in 14 different games this season.
Along with her scoring, the senior guard has dished out the eighth-most assists in the SAC this season with 89. She has 16 games with at least three assists and averages three per game.
In Sullivan's 61 career games with C-N, she has poured in 952 points and 142 career three-pointers. She has already passed 1,000 points in her collegiate career and is just 48 away from being C-N's 32nd 1K scorer. Her 142 career three-pointers are eighth-most all-time in program history. Sullivan's career 40.9 three-point percentage is third-highest in school history behind Ashley Tipton's 45.2 percentage and Braelyn Wykle's 41.1 mark.
Sullivan was one of five players from the South Atlantic Conference recognized on the D2CCA All-region teams.
