ROCK HILL, S.C. – For the fifth time this season, Carson-Newman Indoor Track & Field has a weekly honor, and for the first time, it is a woman. Lovelyne Larrame (Cormeilles-en-Parisis, France) was named the WePlayed Sports South Atlantic Conference's Women's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week on Tuesday by the league's office.
On the first day, Lovelyne Larrame joined in on the record-breaking day, besting her previous school record in the 200m at 24.58 seconds. Larrame finished in 6th overall.
One day after breaking the school record in the 200m, Lovelyne Larrame does it again, this time in the 400m at the Music City Challenge, hosted by Vanderbilt University. The graduate student continues to impress for head coach Kieran Showler-Davis and company, placing fourth overall in the 400m with her time of 55.39 seconds. Larrame's time places her 19th in the nation in the 400m.
