Eagles set their sights on the 2026 South Atlantic Conference Indoor Championships

JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. – After a strong regular season that saw multiple school records, countless personal records and young athletes emerging. Kieran Showler-Davis's squad heads to Winston-Salem, North Carolina for the South Atlantic Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships.
The event will take place on Friday and Saturday at the JDL Fastrack.
On the men's side, Rylan Jordan, Amine Kasmi and Merlin Silveri headline as three Eagles in the top 10 of entries for the 60m dash. This season, Jordan set the school record in the 400m and ran the second-fastest time in the 60m.
In the 200m, Kasmi comes in with the fastest time this season in the conference at 21.09 seconds. Favour Ekpekpe and Jordan also slide into the top eight among those in the entry list.
On the field side of events, pole vaulter Cadence Dolgin enters the weekend with the best mark in the SAC at 4.72m, which is also a C-N program record. He started his freshman season by breaking the record in his first event and later set his new mark at the Music City Challenge.
Blayne Jackson will compete in the high jump, and he enters with tied for the third-best jump this season in the SAC at 2.00m. Alden Wetzel will perform in the heptathlon, where he has been a force throughout his first season in Mossy Creek, alongside Daniel Heath.
Finally, Carlos Kouassi looks to make his mark in the triple jump. The Swiss native has the third-best distance among those competing at 14.61 meters.
On the women's side, Carson-Newman 400m record holder Lovelyne Larrame enters the 400m heats with the fastest time at 55.39 seconds. Trishanie Warner also slots into the top five in the 400m at 57.18 seconds.
Sade De Sousa enters the 60m prelims with the fourth fastest time this season, 7.59 seconds.
In the high jump, three Eagles are in the top 12 with Meiah Moss (5th), Kendall Whitehead (6th) and Kellie Ivens (11th).
Moss also enters the long jump with the fifth-best mark, while senior Brooke Taylor is second at 5.82m. Taylor and Whitehead can also be seen in the triple jump alongside Dominika Kooch.
Finally, Katie Edmunds (3.31m) and Tylee Hefney (3.05m) are both going into the pole vault with top 10 heights.
