Women’s Soccer recognized for team academic award from United Soccer Coaches
Carson-Newman women’s soccer was recognized as one of 414 women’s soccer programs for their exemplary performance in the classroom during the 2024-25 academic year, earning a team academic honor from United Soccer Coaches.
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Carson-Newman women's soccer was recognized as one of 425 women's soccer programs for their exemplary performance in the classroom during the 2024-25 academic year, earning a team academic honor from United Soccer Coaches.
This marks the second straight year the program has achieved this award. 2023-24's group posted a 3.52 GPA, while this past season's increased the team GPA to 3.53.
A total of 721 soccer teams (296 men, 425 women) posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher, thereby earning the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for the 2024-25 academic year.
Carson-Newman's 2025 season begins with a visit to Union (TN) on September 4th at 3:00 p.m.
